The basic design principles of HB Body’s corporate offices were, firstly, addressing the company’s new needs following its long activity in Greece as well as abroad, while incorporating contemporary attitudes towards workspace functionality. Additionally specific care was taken to incorporate and reinforce the company’s new brand identity which is reflected throughout the building’s main hub. The dynamic foyer, with its atrium and water feature, invite visitors in a grand space that is simultaneously familiar yet striking. Soundproofing panels hanging from the ground floor ceiling, not only serve their intended purpose but are laid out in a way helps define uses and carve out movement. The custom chain mesh in the reception area does not only act as a partition, but also serves as defining feature that catches the visitors’ eye as they enter the space. Bold colour splashes on walls and furniture compliment the company’s identity, while the lighting adapts to either enhance natural light in the workspaces or showcase details. Different solutions are implemented throughout the individual workspaces that collectively ascribe to a minimalistic aesthetic of colours and textures, combining neutral shades with timber surfaces. The woven vinyl flooring completes the material palette while seamlessly unifying the company’s spaces.
