The goal of the design was the transformation of a typical residence in Liti, Thessaloniki, into a modern residence that serves the needs of a family of four. The ground floor, in direct contact with the garden, houses the living room, the kitchen, two playrooms and secondary uses. The living room, the kitchen and the dining room are in the same area and communicate, however elements of the composition demarcate them. Thanks to this, along with the large openings created, the common areas on the ground floor are gathered in an open floor plan and the access to the exterior of the residence is direct. The earth tones of the materials combined with the wood and the black metal details, give the space a modern and simple luxury.
In the attic, where the most private uses are accommodated, the master bedroom follows a similar style, characterized by the construction with the fireplace and the closet. Children’s rooms, without exaggeration, play a little more with the colors and the compositions of the furniture, in order to meet the needs of their users.
